Precise analysis requires stable pressure and volume flows. Thus, all analysis devices usually applied in the petrochemical industry have commonly been vented directly into the atmosphere since it supplies a sufficiently constant reference pressure.
Due to stricter environmental constraints, companies are increasingly forced to considerably reduce or at most eliminate emissions. Therefore, most applied systems have preferably been vented into the exhaust flare.
The downside of such methods has been heavily variating pressures negatively effecting the measurement accuracy.
To solve this problem sustainably, Parker developed a purely mechanical solution, based on only few moving parts and hence being almost maintenance free, created to produce a permanently stable flow in the exhaust gas line.
The ultra-compact design named Vent Master TM does not only easily fit into even smallest casings, but it also allows to simultaneously regulate several analysis lines. The pressure stability thus achieved is much higher than provided by more primitive solutions as simply venting into the exhaust flare or feeding back media samples by pumps and can be warranted for practically any plant.
Besides a significant cost reduction our Vent Master TM is often able to decrease the annual amount of emission by several tons and ultimately to substantially reduce the environmental impact.
